Two of my favourite design portals  - Reform & Revolution and TypeNEU - as well as Michael Paul Young have recently redesigned their sites. What they have in common is a very similar style - multi-column news stream, so to say. A new trend, it seems.

On the 11th of September I attended the Google Jumpstart event at Studio 44 in Vienna. The main focus was on the Google AdWords program and the Google Analytics tool and their significance for advertising and marketing agencies. Although I already knew many of the features we also got new insights into the enormous possibilities Google has to offer.

Poggenpohl has now officially released its Porsche Design kitchen called P7340.

Wenzel Wondra, Graz-based web designer and -developer, has launched a new website for his IT-Studio.

Objectified is filmmaker Gary Hustwit’s new documentary project about industrial design. It’s about the manufactured objects we surround ourselves with, and the people who make them. After the highly successful Helvetica film this seems to become another must-see for us designers.

A few months ago I-Punkt has started its very own video podcast called ipu-tv. Now we have developed a small web series in which I play the leading role: Der Slogandetektor. You can also watch it on YouTube or subscribe via iTunes. Have fun!
